I would like an overview of how much my students trained _overall_, including training, open and own lessons. I noticed that my students have different numbers than I do - even if I add training and open lessons, I don't get the same number of minutes as it is shown to my students.
I didn't look in detail into it, but I think it might have to do something with canceled attempts. From my view (teacher perspective) canceled attempts do not count towards the total number of minutes, I think maybe in the students perspective they do.

Maybe it is just me, that I did not manage to select a way to see the overall number of minutes trained. For instance for the user: Raf.Wip. He showed me, that he had trained a bit over 300 minutes. In the assigned tasks I see 34:00 and in the private section 205:00 minutes. I don't get, where the missing minutes are.

Anyway, I just would like both view to be consistent.

Thank you very much for your question and sorry for the late reply.

When you look at the assigned tasks in the teacher administration, you see only the best result of one task. If you want to see the other results you have to click on the counter of the attempts.
In the total row only the values of the best results are summed.

In student view all results are listed (the best task result is in bold font, the other task results have a grey font) and all results are used for the total row.

That's the reason for the difference in training time.

We will think about if we can solve the problem. One way could be a filter in student view that only shows the best results of tasks. Another way could be a filter in teacher view to show all results.

We also think about a dashboard view - that could also be a solution to show the total training time and the time for the counting (best) task results.

Just as background information on why I'd like to see the total number of minutes trained:

My students have to do the typing training as homework. To motivate them training regularly they can improve their marks in the typing-exam by showing me they trained. I give them 0.2 better marks for each 100 minutes of training up to 500 minutes.

The problem now is that I see a certain a number of minutes they have trained, but they actually had trained a lot more than what I saw.

In that sense, I'd prefer the "teacher filter to show all results" over the "the student filter to only show them their best results", but that's really just for my specific use case.

Thanks for the background information.

We implemented a solution that is not finished yet. But we already activated it for your school platform. You can select now "Inklusive Aufgaben anzeigen" in the "Private Lernstatistiken" to see all results and all attempts of the tasks.

The sum of this report should be the same than the sum of the results of the student view.

The filter is not full ready yet because we for example do not show the grades in the list or reports. But the values itself should be all correct.
